At Fenergic, quality doesn't end with delivery. We provide reliable and responsive after-sales service, designed to support our customers over time, with rigor and professionalism.

General Warranty
Our products are guaranteed against defects or faulty workmanship for the periods and conditions described below.
Any claim made under this warranty must be submitted in writing within fifteen (15) days of the discovery of the alleged defect or fault to Fenergic for analysis and processing.
Fenergic reserves the right to examine and retain any allegedly defective product, otherwise this warranty does not apply.
During the first year following the date of delivery of the products, the parts and labour costs indicated in this warranty will be borne by Fenergic.
For subsequent years, only the cost of replacement parts is covered by the warranty: all other costs (including, but not limited to, transportation and installation costs) are excluded from this warranty and remain the responsibility of the customer.
Sealed Units
Manufactured by Fenergic
The sealed units of windows manufactured by Fenergic and identified by its logo on the interior face are guaranteed for the lifetime of the product against unsealing, the formation of a film or dust deposit on the internal faces of the panel caused by a lack of sealing of the joint and constituting a significant obstruction to vision, under normal conditions and provided that our products have been installed in accordance with the company's instructions and according to the coverage table below:

To benefit from the warranty coverage, the replacement sealed unit must have been purchased from Fenergic and must be replaced by a Fenergic-approved technician. Proof of purchase must be submitted to Fenergic.
The tiles are guaranteed for a period of ten (10) years against major warping and severe uneven discolouration. Vibrations of the tiles inside sealed units are considered normal.
Glued crossbeams (or false beams) are covered for one (1) year from the date of delivery.
Made Outside the Factory
Sealed units not manufactured by Fenergic but sold or distributed by Fenergic, including door stained glass, are warranted by the manufacturer of the sealed unit for a period of ten (10) years from the date of delivery.
The glass manufacturer guarantees the units against unsealing, the formation of a film or a deposit of dust on the internal faces of the panel caused by a lack of sealing of the joint and constituting an appreciable obstruction to vision.
Glass breakage, including thermal breakage, is not covered by the Fenergic warranty.
Thermal Breakage
In the first year only, thermal breakage, characterized by a break in the inner pane of glass during a period of extreme cold (below -10°C) without the presence of a point of impact, is covered by the Fenergic warranty.
PVC & Aluminum Profiles
The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and aluminium profiles, components of the window systems, are guaranteed by the profile manufacturer against all defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty (20) years from the date of delivery.
The profile manufacturer guarantees that its profiles will not rot, rust, crack, deform, blister, corrode, or discolour unevenly.
Excluded from the warranty are: Damage caused by excessive exposure to the elements such as, but not limited to, uneven exposure of surfaces to sunlight, in cases of overheating by radiation caused by a canvas, curtain or film installed directly on the window frame and causing a temperature rise above 40°C.
Profiles that are painted or coated with any product whatsoever, or used in windows, or installed other than on a vertical plane, are not covered by the warranty.
The PVC profiles used in the glazing frames of steel doors are guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.
If the PVC profile manufacturer determines that the warranty on its products is valid, the PVC manufacturer agrees at its option to either (i) refund the original purchase price for the defective extrusions or (ii) replace the defective extrusions that have been returned to the supplier with the same model or a model of similar quality.
Steel Doors
The steel door manufacturer warrants its products, for residential application, against any manufacturing defects, material defects, major discolouration, chalking and significant warping for a period of ten (10) years from the date of delivery.
The PVC strip that covers the perimeter of the door glazing is covered by the warranty for one (1) year.
Warping less than 6.35 mm (¼ inch), sagging, or any other permanent deformation not exceeding the criteria of CAN/CGSB-82.5-M88 are not considered defects.
Shed doors and non-standard size doors (cut doors) are not covered by the warranty.
Paint
The paint manufacturer warrants the paint for a period of three (3) years from the date of delivery against peeling, cracking, blistering and flaking and significant (greater than 5 delta E) non-uniform discolouration.
During the first year of the warranty, Fenergic or one of its subcontractors will apply new paint on-site to the defective components only. In subsequent years, Fenergic may, at its discretion, either (i) provide a quantity of paint of similar quality to the original in sufficient quantity to repair the defective surfaces, or (ii) refund part or all of the original purchase price of the purchase option for the defective items.
The Client remains aware that there may be normal colour variations between the old paint and the new paint applied.
Hardware
Windows
The window hardware is covered by a 5-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse or abuse, insufficient or inadequate maintenance, discolouration of the finish, or corrosion due to the use of chemical or natural agents, including those used for brick cleaning.
The steel door hardware manufacturer warrants its products for a period of one (1) year against defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty does not cover rust or corrosion, particularly, but not limited to, when the hinges have been exposed to high humidity environments (e.g., a construction site exposed to the elements).
The door handle manufacturer guarantees its products for a period of one (1) year against manufacturing and workmanship defects, as well as abnormal and uneven discolouration of finishes.
Patio Doors
The patio door manufacturer guarantees that the hardware (rollers and shutter locks) will remain in good working condition under normal conditions of use for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.
Wood Components
All wood components manufactured and/or sold by Fenergic are warranted against all manufacturing defects by the subcontractor for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.
Other Components
All other components not mentioned in this warranty are covered for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.
Mosquito Net
All mosquito nets must be inspected within 48 hours of delivery. No claims regarding defects in the mesh or paint will be accepted after this period. Adjustment of the mosquito nets is not covered by the warranty.
Exclusions
Fenergic's warranty applies to the original purchaser of the products. It is transferable only if the owner of the property has the original purchase agreement in his possession.
This warranty covers only manufacturing defects in materials.
The warranty does not include defects and damage attributable to or resulting from the improper installation of windows, including poor insulation, or effects or damage caused by accident, fire, flood, natural disaster, misuse, vandalism, improper or insufficient maintenance, damaging fumes, chemicals, home heating, exposure to excessive temperatures, discolouration due to normal aging, oxidation, extreme weather conditions, and any other circumstances and causes beyond the control of the company.
The warranty does not cover direct or indirect damage caused to walls, structures, floors or any other installations near or adjacent to the installation site of Fenergic products, including normal damage and deterioration caused to the finish, paint, mouldings and other objects to be handled by Fenergic's employees or its authorized subcontractors in its obligations related to this warranty.
Fenergic and its authorized subcontractors shall not be held liable under any conditions for any loss of revenue, profits, related to any defect in workmanship, workmanship or in the performance of this warranty.
The fitting of the products is not covered by the warranty.
The removal, relocation and reinstallation of blinds, curtains, decorations and furniture obstructing the work of the technicians remain at all times the responsibility of the customer and Fenergic disclaims all responsibility for these items.
Excluded from the warranty are all normal maintenance work as well as the replacement of parts subject to normal wear and tear, such as weather stripping, door brushes, rollers, locks, operators, cranks, bolts.
The warranty applies only when all products have been paid for in full and the customer is not in default of payment or has any recourse against the company.
Additional fees will be charged if (i) Repair work requires a trip of more than 75km from a Fenergic service center (ii) Work requires the handling of oversized objects requiring more than one technician (iii) Products are installed in hard-to-reach locations.
The costs of renting, purchasing, delivering, installing and dismantling scaffolding or any other device necessary for the completion of the service are at the expense and responsibility of the customer.
Permits and/or authorizations (and related fees) necessary for the work covered by the warranty of Fenergic products are the responsibility of the customer.
Any attempt to repair or modify Fenergic products, including for example painting, stripping, replacement of thermoses by personnel not authorized by Fenergic permanently invalidates the entire warranty of the contract.
Any replacement of parts will not extend or modify the duration of the warranty. The original warranty will continue under the terms, conditions and remaining time period if applicable.
Fenergic reserves the right to stop manufacturing a product or component at any time. In such a case, the Company may, at its option, either replace the defective product with a similar product, or provide the customer with a credit equivalent to the price paid by the customer for the component or option.
Although our products meet the standards indicated by the certification numbers appearing on them, no additional certificate of conformity given or may have been given by the customer to any third party shall be binding in any way whatsoever on Fenergic.
This warranty is subject to the laws of the province as defined in the terms of the contract of sale.
